Trial reset for man charged with killing Evansville firefighter

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - The trial for the man charged with killing an Evansville firefighter has been reset.
Larry Richmond Sr. was charged with the murder of Evansville firefighter Robert Doerr.
According to officials, Richmond is now scheduled to face a jury on May 15, 2025.
Elizabeth Fox-Doerr, Robert’s widow, was sentenced in the murder case back in June.

This is the third time Richmond’s trial has been pushed back.
