Proposals being accepted for Colonel House Motel property in Owensboro

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - We have an update on the vacant Colonel House Motel in Owensboro.
The city officially has possession of property on Triplett Street.
Leaders say they hope affordable housing will be developed at that location.
They say proposals are due by June 6.
Progress on the property is expected to start after the bid is awarded.
