Traffic signal to be installed on SR 66 and Grimm Rd. in Warrick Co.
WARRICK CO., Ind. (WFIE) - The Indiana Department of Transportation announced the installation of traffic signals at State Road 66 and Grimm Road in Warrick County has been scheduled.
According to a press release, beginning on or around May 21, crews will install traffic signals at the intersection of State Road 66 and Grimm Road near Newburgh.
These traffic signals will be installed on previously installed equipment at this intersection.
Officials say once installed, the new signal will flash yellow for three days on State Road 66 with a red flash on Grimm Road.
Following this period, the intersection will operate in a normal green, yellow and red light operation.
A temporary signal was installed during installation of a displaced left turn intersection at State Road 66 and Epworth Road.
INDOT officials say the signal was installed to increase safety and mobility due to the heavy construction presence.
Following the completion of the displaced left turn intersection, the temporary traffic signals were removed.
