DAWSON SPRINGS, Ky. (WFIE) - The road to recovery still continues three years after a destructive tornado tore through Dawson Springs and changed the community forever.
Tuesday afternoon, a family who lost it all in the tornado got to see their new home, which was financed in part by the Team Western Kentucky Tornado Relief Fund.
Lt. Governor Jaqueline Coleman and city leaders were at the dedication celebration to mark the occasion.
Eric Cotton and Laura Brown will soon be moving into the home on Mineral Street with their son Ganon.
Officials tell us the they have built or repaired 244 homes across Kentucky as part of the relief fund.
