Local comic book stores celebrating “Free Comic Book Day” on Saturday

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Comic book stores in the Tri-State are hoping to get kids and adults to pick up reading about superheroes and villains during the annual Free Comic Book Day.
Stores across the country have been celebrating on the the first Saturday of May for 23 years.
The Book Broker, Comic Quest, and Subscription Comic Shop, and Secret Headquarters are apart of the festivities in Evansville.
While Big Bang Comics and the Moneytree will be celebrating in Owensboro.
The Book Broker, Comic Quest and Big Bang Comics all open at 10 a.m. and will feature both local and national comic book artists as special guests, and will have other activities.
