OMG!Con returning to Owensboro this summer
OWENSBORO, Ky. (WFIE) - It’s back! Fans of anime, gaming and pop culture will be flocking to Owensboro this summer for the return of OMG!Con.
Organizers say this year’s convention will be their biggest celebration yet and mark two decades of fandom fun, community and creativity.
“We are incredibly excited to celebrate this milestone year with our amazing community,” said John Bowen with OMG!Con. “Whether this is your first convention or your twentieth, we have something special in store for everyone.”
Organizers say the three-day family-friendly event welcomes attendees of all ages and interests, bringing together fans of anime, video games, tabletop gaming, movies, TV shows, cosplay and more.
According to an event spokesperson, the convention will have dozens of arcade cabinets, an expansive tabletop gaming room, panels, vendors, contests, musical guests and a dance party.
