MT. CARMEL, Ill. (WFIE) - In Wabash County, authorities say a shots fired call just west of Mt. Carmel led to a man being arrested.
Deputies say it started just after midnight on Monday when a man called 911 to say a family member was intoxicated.
Not long after that report, the caller said 36-year-old Lewis Linder had shot a gun inside the home.
Deputies say they were told Linder then went outside and shot the gun again.
First responders say they found the gun outside and saw Linder running into the woods.
A K9 and Drone were deployed before Linder was arrested.
He’s charged with reckless discharge of a firearm and aggravated assault.
A mugshot has not been released at this time.
