Large fire under investigation in Mt. Carmel

MT. CARMEL, Ill. (WFIE) - The Illinois State Fire Marshall is investigating a building fire in Mount Carmel.
Officials with the fire department say it broke out Friday morning in the 1200 block of Bainum Street.
When first responders got there, they say the entire building was on fire.
Officials say it took crews over two hours to get it under control.
Multiple fire departments were called in to help, including Patoka Township from Gibson County.
