Albion experiences longest solar eclipse totality in the Tri-State

ALBION, Ill. (WFIE) - Albion, Illinois not only got to experience the eclipse Monday, but they were in the center of the path of totality, meaning they got to experience it for the maximum amount of time.
Albion city leaders say this was a great opportunity to show off their town.
“We’re a community filled with pride for what we have,” said Albion Area Chamber of Commerce president, Jessica Evans. “We love our courthouse, we love our pagoda, we love our brick streets; and to be able to share that with people from literally all over the country and all over the world is a fantastic opportunity for all of us.”
City leaders say they hope all of the people in town today turn into repeat visitors.
