Will trash be picked up in Evansville on the solar eclipse day?

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Evansville is expected to be hustling and bustling with people across the country for the Great American Solar Eclipse next week.
This might have many people in Evansville wondering - will my trash by picked up on the eclipse day?
The answer is no. The Evansville Water and Sewer Utility says Republic Services will not be picking up trash or recycling on April 8 because of the anticipated traffic the eclipse will bring.
Utility officials say trash and recycling pickups will resume on Tuesday, April 9, and will be on a one-day delay through Saturday, April 13.
