Fish fries begin on first Friday of Lent

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - It’s the first Friday of Lent, and area churches are gearing up for their Fish Fries.

We spoke Friday morning with Mark Hackert. He’s the organizer of St. Benedict’s Fish Fry, which is happening tonight.
