Highway 60 back open after semi strikes overpass

OWENSBORO, Ky. (WFIE) - Eastbound U.S. 60 has reopened after officials say a vehicle struck the West 5th Street Road overpass around 12:15 Monday afternoon.
Inspectors spent hours at the bridge to assess damage and determine the condition of the overpass.
Officials say West 5th Street Road is closed until further notice.
They say detours will be in place and ask drivers to be aware as crews are on scene to assess and fix any damage.
