Accident closes southbound I-69 in Webster County

WEBSTER COUNTY, Ky. (WFIE) - The Kentucky Transportation cabinet says Southbound I-69 was shut down for several hours due to a wreck in Webster County.

Officials say the accident happened Saturday around 1:30 p.m. at the 128 mile point between the Sebree and Slaughters exits.
The road has now reopened.
Officials say the crash was caused by a man running from the scene of another incident.
