Traffic stoppages happening on Lloyd Expressway

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Evansville drivers know the Lloyd4U project is in full swing.

You’ll want to prepared for possible stops in the traffic flow on the east side for the next couple of weeks.

Crews will be stopping cars in the east and westbound lanes near Stockwell Road.

Officials say these stops are only expected to last 15-20 minutes.

Crews will be putting up stoplights at that Stockwell intersection.

They will be out there working from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., so not during rush hours.

Stops will happen occasionally through Friday, April 18.

Here’s a look at the traffic on Tuesday, April 8. Drivers say they were stalled for several minutes.
