Pioneers hire Jon Batts as football coach

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - There were not one, but TWO new coaches named tonight.
Over in Boonville, Jon Batts was approved by the school board and will officially be the next Head Coach of the Pioneers.
Batts has previous experience coaching in football, first at Bosse High School.
He actually knows this Pioneers roster quite well, as he served on the defensive coaching staff under previous head coach Darin Ward.
Now at the helm, Batts is going to put his own spin on things.
