South Spencer Introduces new football coach Brandon Neighbors
REO, Ind. (WFIE) - We start off the evening with some introductions! There’s a new man at the helm of South Spencer High School’s Football Program, and today, Brandon Neighbors was introduced at a board meeting!
Coach Neighbors actually played at South Spencer, graduating in 2004. He has been on staff for multiple different stints, but now, it’s his turn to lead the charge. Neighbors comes in with a tough task as his squad loses Ty Brown to graduation. But as Neighbors moves from Offensive Coordinator to the head spot, he’s putting an emphasis on togetherness, and assembling a team.
“Really getting the guys together and becoming more of a family. Building some toughness, mentally and physically, and of course always getting bigger, stronger and faster. We play 1A football, so it takes being in shape 10-12 games a year, and that means being in shape mentally and physically tough,” said New Head Coach Brandon Neighbors.
