Owensboro Catholic departs for state title game
EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - We are just one day away from the big state title game for the Owensboro Catholic Aces.
The 2A state championship game against Beechwood goes down at Kroger Field in Lexington tomorrow at 4PM. They set off today and there was plenty of excitement for the players as they make their return to the big game.
“We’re feeling really good. I’m excited about the opportunity we have and the task we have ahead, we’re excited. We think about it every single day. Every time we get the opportunity to get extra work in, we’re doing it, because we’re doing whatever it takes to put ourselves in the best position to win it this year,” said Senior Quarterback Brady Atwell.
We will have you covered before the game, I’ll be live in Lexington at 11 and 12 tomorrow, and then after the game on 14 News at 10.
