Heritage Hills' Parker Hart named IHSAA Mental Attitude Award recipient
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WFIE) - A football state championship trophy wasn’t the only hardware boarding the bus, from Indianapolis to Lincoln City, IN, on Saturday night.
Patriots’ senior linebacker/offensive lineman, Parker Hart, was named, as the IHSAA’s recipient, of the Blake Ress Mental Attitude award, for Class 3A football!
Hart is one of the best students, in the Heritage Hills 2024 senior class, with a 4.1 GPA, and he will graduate this May, with Core 40 and academic and technical honors.
He’s been an active leader in school spirit at Heritage Hills, and he’s also on the wrestling and track teams.
The mental attitude award is presented annually, to a senior, nominated by his principal and coach, who’s demonstrated excellence in mental attitude, scholarship, leadership, and athletic ability.
The Colts presented a $1,000 scholarship to Heritage Hills' scholarship fund, in Hart’s name.
