Community members to celebrate, send-off Webster Co. High School boys basketball team

WEBSTER CO., Ky. (WFIE) - On Thursday, a community is celebrating the Webster County High School boys basketball team with a send-off.
That send-off is planned as the team is heading to the 2-A State Tournament at the Owensboro Sportscenter.
Their first round game is scheduled for Friday at 10:30 a.m.
Thursday’s send-off is happening at 4:30 p.m. at the high school.
Officials say the team will be escorted by county first responders.
School officials want to remind their Webster County School students, you do not have school Friday so you can cheer on the team.
