Dartanyan Tinsley reacts to signing with Cleveland Browns
EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Not one but two former Tri-State high school football players are getting their shot in the National Football League.
Dartanyan Tinsley got his call from the Cleveland Browns and will have a chance to make the roster as an undrafted free agent. After graduating from Owensboro High School in 2019, Tinsley made two stops in college, first at Kentucky Christian, then over to Cincinnati. For Tinsley, it was quite hectic, but it didn’t take long for him to find his spot.
“We started hearing about different opportunities in the 6th and the 7th. The Chargers had pick 256, but everything didn’t go as planned there, so we got started on the UDFA stuff pretty early into the 7th,” said Dartanyan Tinsley. “Prior to the draft even starting that day, we got together and made a list of different destinations that we’d want to go to.”
