EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) -Showers and storms will move across the Tri-State, especially Kentucky, through Friday evening. Cloudy skies will linger through the weekend as lows drop into the mid 50s Saturday morning. A stubborn “cutoff low” will continue to spin over the region through Monday. This spinning low will keep skies cloudy and temperatures cool. Highs Saturday through Monday will only reach the low to mid 60s. Occasional showers and thunderstorms will be possible each day. A few cold air funnels may appear. While these are harmless, they look like actual tornadoes and are usually very week and rope-like in appearance. We’ll clear out on Tuesday as highs return to the lower 70s. More clouds and rain return Wednesday with highs in the lower 70s. Partly cloudy with mid 70s for Thursday and Friday.
