EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) -Cloudy skies over the Tri-State on Thursday kept temperatures in the lower 70s. A few scattered showers a storms are possible, but the severe risk is low. On Friday, a cold front will arrive and may trigger some severe storms in the afternoon and evening. Highs will climb into the upper 70s. The weekend outlook is a little muddled by some stubborn cloud cover that will spin around Friday’s departing storm system. Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy through the weekend with a few scattered showers possible on Saturday. Weekend highs will be cooler with mid 60’s Saturday through Monday. Mainly dry as we head into next week with highs warming into the mid to upper 70s.
