EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) -Warm and humid conditions on Tuesday will spawn scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. A few storms may become severe with damaging winds and large hail. Storms should wind down before midnight. The front that is triggering the storms will stall over the Tri-State, so unsettled conditions will remain through Friday. We will have a daily chance of scattered storms—some severe—through Friday. High temps will climb into the mid to upper 70s each day. By the weekend, high pressure will build in and squeeze out any chance for rain. Sunny and pleasant through the weekend with highs in the lower 70s and lows in the mid to upper 40s. Dry weather will continue into the first half of next week.
