EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) -Scattered showers will move through the Tri-State on Wednesday evening. The Storm Prediction Center placed the Tri-State in a Level 1 (Marginal) risk for severe storms on Thursday. We have a First Alert Weather Day for Thursday afternoon and evening, since a few storms may produce large hail or damaging winds. Storms will be somewhat scattered, and any rainfall should have little impact on the flooding situation around the region. Temps will fall to near 50 on Thursday morning and rise to near 70 in the afternoon. Scattered storms will pop up, mainly in the late afternoon and early evening Thursday. Once the cold front moves through, temps will drop back into the middle 50s on Friday with sunny skies. Sunny and milder for the weekend with highs near 60 Saturday and near 70 on Sunday. More showers possible early next week.
