Showers and some thunder possible Wednesday

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) -Mostly cloudy skies for Sunday morning and afternoon with a few scattered showers. Highs will struggle to reach 50 on Sunday afternoon. Monday will bring clearing skies and highs near 60. Southerly winds return on Tuesday, along with sunshine, afternoon highs should crack the 70-degree mark. A few showers and thunderstorms will be possible on Wednesday as another storm system moves in from the plains. It will be windy and warm again for Wednesday with highs in the lower 70s. Once the rain moves out, we drop back into the 50s to finish the week.
