OWENSBORO, Ky. (WFIE) - A new football coach will be on the sidelines for Owensboro High School.

School officials say DaMarcus Ganaway is the next head coach of the football team.

Ganaway takes over for the departed, Jay Fallin, and Ganaway is no stranger to the Tri-State.

He was a standout receiver, at Kentucky Wesleyan, and then he had a stint, with the New York Jets.

After that, Ganaway returned to the area, and was previously the head football coach at Ohio County and Bosse.

An introductory meeting for Coach Ganaway will be on Tuesday, February 18 at 5 p.m. in the Owensboro High School auditorium.
