Warmer temperatures for the weekend
EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - For the rest of the afternoon anticipate sunny skies with temperatures hanging out in the mid to upper 20s. Skies will remain mostly clear overnight with lows dropping into the lower 20s.
This weekend looks pretty nice, especially Saturday! Anticipate mostly sunny skies with temperatures warming into the mid-40s. Winds will be out of the southwest between 5-11 mph gusts up to 15-20 mph will be possible. A cold front will swing through the Tri-State Saturday night. The cold front is rather dry so i’m not anticipating any precipitation but it will conjure up some cloud cover. Temperatures will cool down into the mid to upper 20s. Sunday will feature mostly cloudy skies in the morning that will gradually clear through the day. Temperatures won’t be as warm as Saturday but they still reach the upper 30s.
Temperatures will continue to warm up to around or slightly above average through next week. Highs on Monday will top out in the lower 40s underneath sunny skies. Tuesday and Wednesday look to be the warmest days where highs could top out in the upper 40s to around 50. The weather pattern will remain fairly quiet through next week as well. Our next best chance of precipitation looks to move in for the end of next week.
