History repeats: Owensboro Catholic facing Somerset in semifinal
EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - We have arrived at our final team preview for high school football for the week, as three teams remain. On Monday, we talked Union County’s semifinal matchup, and Tuesday we looked ahead to Heritage Hills' state title game, you can check both of those out on 14 News.com. That leaves Owensboro Catholic.
The top seed in the 2A bracket finds themselves hosting Somerset once again. The two teams met last year in the same round, with the Aces dominating 44-15. We checked in with the Aces tonight, after the stadium lights turned off, so watch the video above to hear Coach Jason Morris after dark edition, on their mindset for gameday.
The Aces won comfortably once again last week, and why they are careful not to get ahead of themselves, that confidence is certainly there.
