City of Owensboro offering free transit rides on Election Day, Veterans Day

OWENSBORO, Ky. (WFIE) - For those in Owensboro, you will be able to take the bus for free Tuesday and on Veterans Day.
This comes as early voting has ended in Kentucky.
According to Secretary of State Michael Adams, over 200,000 Kentuckians voted on Saturday.
He also says 225,000 people took part on the first day of early voting.
Now, for those who still need to make their way to the polls on November 5, the city will allow you to take the bus for free.
Officials say the buses will be running from 6 a.m. to 7:35 p.m.
