Boulware Mission holds mayoral candidate forum in Owensboro
OWENSBORO, Ky. (WFIE) - Boulware Mission hosted a mayoral candidate forum at the Daviess County Public Library.
The candidates on the forum were Mayor Tom Watson and Commissioner Pam Smith Wright.
Boulware Mission asked questions highlighting some of the issues in the community such as poverty, housing, healthcare, and many other topics.
Executive Director David Gaynor talks about how important these forums are for the community.
“So many changes that are going on in the community right now and with so many afflictions that affect our community, it’s really important to get the community voice and get different ideas on how we can conquer some of the problems we have,” he tells us.
