Total solar eclipse officially one month away

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Friday is exactly one month away from the Total Solar Eclipse.
Communities along the path of totality are busy prepping for a weekend full of eclipse themed festivities.
That includes Evansville, and many cities and towns in the Tri-State.
Here is a list of venues around the Tri-state hosting eclipse events on April 8:
Indiana
- Black Hole Sun Festival at Vanderburgh County 4-H Center
- Operation Eclipse at Evansville Wartime Museum
- Solar Eclipse at the Fair at Posey County Fairgrounds
- Grow Poseyville Solarbration at North Elementary School
- Holiday World Solar Eclipse Viewing at Holiday World’s Legend Parking Lot
- Total Solar at the Speedway at Tri-State Speedway
- UEclipse at University of Evansville
- Party at the Pointe at KC’s Marina Pointe
- Downtown Evansville Total Solar Eclipse on Riverside Drive, Downtown Evansville
- Eclipse from the Ship on the LST 325
- Hadi Shrine Solar Eclipse at the Hadi Shrine Parking Lot
- Solar Eclipse at Angel Mounds
- Total Eclipse of the Park at Friedman Park (Newburgh)
- Total Solar Eclipse Fundraiser Watch Party at Atheneum Visitors Center (New Harmony)
- Solarpalooza at University of Southern Indiana

- The Mountain Goats at Victory Theatre - Event follows Eclipse at 7 p.m.

- Solar Eclipse in Fairfield
- Carmi Fest Solar Eclipse in City of Carmi
Totality in Evansville will be at 2:02 p.m. central time.
There will be three minutes and two seconds of totality.
